In front of the camera since he broke in as a child actor in the 1970s, Giovanni Ribisi made a detour and makes his debut as a cinematographer in the JT Mollner-directed Miramax film Strange Darling. The film premiered at Fantastic Fest to strong reviews, has a 100% fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes and gets its release next month.
Ribisi has been a stalwart actor known for meticulously crafted character work, in films and TV credits that range from Friends to three Avatar sequels, Saving Private Ryan, Sneaky Pete, Ted and Ted 2, Kevin Costner’s Horizon films, and many others.
